Martin, a loyal fan of FC Porto, had long dreamed of seeing his favourite team play live one day. He has been following the goalkeeper’s career especially closely over the past four years.

Even the flight itself held some surprises for him: thanks to Wizz Air, after landing he was able to enter the cockpit and have an informal conversation with the pilots.

He was very excited for match day, as until then he had only been able to experience the magic of football through the television screen. The special atmosphere of the stadium immediately captivated him, and it was truly impressive for him to see the team’s stars playing from such a close distance.

The next day, he was able to immerse himself in the club’s history at the stadium museum, admire the trophy collection, and, as part of the stadium tour, visit the dressing room, where he could sit on the players’ benches. Later, he also sat on the bench by the pitch, where the players had been waiting the previous day to step onto the field. The highlight of the tour was discovering the VIP box. Although unfortunately he was not able to meet the team members, a truly special surprise had been prepared for Martin: a personalised jersey with his own name on it, which he received with great emotion.

As the closing moment of our trip, before heading home, we visited the ocean shore, where Martin and his father happily walked in the waves despite the cold water.
