When I rang the doorbell, I heard an enormous burst of excited squeals. Mum opened the gate to let the car in and told me that the children had been eagerly waiting for the doorbell to ring all morning, knowing that a volunteer from the Foundation would be arriving with their presents.

When Mum and I carried the two large boxes inside, the children were practically beside themselves with excitement. They immediately started opening the boxes and were amazed at how many wonderful things they had received. They could hardly believe their eyes!

Vince skillfully assembled the Paw Patrol truck, which can be transformed into a dragon and used to carry five cars featuring different characters.

We assembled Mira’s castle together with Mum. Mira could hardly wait for it to be finished, happily playing with the Barbie dolls that came with the toy in the meantime. The castle is almost as tall as Mira herself and has separate living quarters for the fairytale princesses. We found the perfect spots for Ariel, Mulan and Rapunzel.

The children eagerly threw themselves into playing with their new toys. According to Mum, they might even forget about dinner that evening!

Mum and the children are very grateful to the Foundation for the gifts. They can hardly believe that their children’s wishes have come true.
