Gathering in Prague: The 3rd Wish Alliance Meeting

The third official meeting of the five Wish Alliance member organisations took place in the beautiful city of Prague on May 17th, 2025.

This inspiring event was hosted by Zlata Rybka, who welcomed us with warmth and enthusiasm.

Adding to the excitement, three new wish-granting organisations joined us as special guests, expressing their interest in becoming future members of the Wish Alliance:
When You Wish Upon a Star (United Kingdom)
Terros dos Sonhos (Portugal)
Association Rêves (France) – who participated virtually

Klara and her dedicated team at Zlata Rybka gave us a detailed insight into their operations. They shared how they communicate with the children (affectionately called “dreamers”), their families, medical professionals, and sponsors.
We also learned about their recent rebranding efforts—after 10 years, they’ve embraced a more child-appealing image with vibrant, cheerful colors and figures.

The presentations sparked lively discussions among both members and prospective members. We exchanged ideas, compared methods, and explored new ways to bring joy to the children we serve. The morning was packed with valuable insights and meaningful conversations.

Later that evening, we were honored to attend the inauguration of Zlata Rybka’s new website, logo, and image handbook. The celebration was filled with joy and admiration for their refreshed identity, now featuring light blue and warm yellow as the main colors. Their redesigned logo is simpler, yet radiates warmth and positivity—just like their mission.

The uplifting spirit of the Prague session is best captured in the many photos taken throughout the day—each one a testament to the joy, collaboration, and shared purpose that define the Wish Alliance.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to the founders and the entire Zlata Rybka team for their impeccable organization of the meeting and the training sessions that followed in the days after.

We also extend our sincere gratitude to the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, whose support has made the creation of the Wish Alliance and our ongoing exchange of ideas possible.

The next meeting will be held in Estonia, organised by Minu Unistuste Paev.
